Now that you’re here, I want to take this opportunity for my Jerry Maguire moment. My honest belief is the way to personal success and longevity in this business is working with less clients and focusing as hard as I can on the clients I have. I mostly work with referrals now, but I’m always happy to meet and help good people that want proper Real Estate care. I do love my job, always have and always will. Any client that works with me knows that I will do everything possible to assist them properly.
I was born in London, England and came to Toronto when I was 3 years old with my parents and brother. I watched my parents arrive in this great country with little personal wealth, but they worked as hard as they could to provide for our family. That work ethic has always stayed with me, bringing me focus and determination which is a powerful asset in this complex business. This work ethic helped me to attain many awards over the years and boosted me into the Top 100 of all Re/Max Agents in Canada by the mid point of 2011. I carried on from there receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award and this past year in 2021, the coveted Chairman’s Award.
I’ve also worn many Real Estate hats over the years, I’ve worked with builders and developers, bought and sold properties both on and off the open market, worked with individuals just starting out and families looking for more space or downsizing. I’ve helped my clients buy and sell investment and commercial properties. I’m very well rounded and I’ve built quite a substantial base of knowledge in the past 30 years. I can assure you, that experience serves my clients well.
All my Buyers need to know that I bring my experience to every negotiating table. That’s absolutely essential, especially in today’s market. I know how to move and act fast and the reality of it is, WIN in multiple offer situations, but I also know how to grind out a deal for my Buyers as well.
Sellers, when I started in this business, things moved a lot slower than they do now. But over the past 28 years, I’ve learned how to work the room on offer night to push the right buttons to help maximize the end result for my Sellers. My actions are always deliberate and in the best interest of my client. I’ve earned respect over the years, not only from my clients but from my collegeues. I’d want me in charge on offer night if I was selling my largest asset. Amateurs just don’t know what the the more experienced can do; it’s just not a fair fight.
